Gurdwara Sri Panj Tirath Sahib is situated in Laroya village, Tehsil Banga in the Nawanshahr district.

Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji came here after winning the 1634 Battle of Kartarpur with the mughals.

Guru Hargobind was heading towards Kiratpur Sahib. Guru Hargobind arrived here in evening and decided to stop for the night.

At the time there was a dense forest with a water reservoir here. When the local children saw Guru Hargobind they informed their parents that a holy man had arrived.

The Sangat from village came and paid their respects to Guru Hargobind. Guru Hargobind asked the local Sangat about their welfare.

There is place known as Panj Peer nearby, the Sangat mentioned that the muslims did not allow them to worship.

Guru Hargobind placed five bricks on the ground and laid the foundation of a Gurdwara and said that this place would be known as 'Panj Tirath'.

Later, Maharaja Ranjit Singh had a Gurdwara built here.
