Bhai Langaha Ji was a Gursikh that commanded Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji's army.

Bhai Langaha Ji was a resident of village Dhand. When Bhai Langaha grew old, he left the job of serving Guru Sahib and started living in village Dhand.

One of Bhai Langaha's last wishes was to be able to meet and see Guru Hargobind before rejoining with God. Bhai Langaha would think about Guru Hargobind all the time.

One day Guru Sahib decided to go and visit his Gursikh. Guru Hargobind rode to Dhand on his horse and stopped at the site of this Gurdwara. Guru Sahib tied his horse to a Pipal tree which still exists at the Gurdwara.

Guru Hargobind blessed Bhai Langaha and the other Sikhs in the village.
