Statement submitted before the Nanavati Commission

I have already filed an affidavit before this Commission (the affidavit is taken on record and marked as exhibit W 161 /1). It is shown to me. It bears my signature. I say that the contents thereof are correct.

It is true that I had not personally seen any incident of attack on the Sikhs on 1 and 2nd November, 1984 but I had witnessed one incident on 3rd November, 1984. Brig. Kalra was my neighbour His house was attacked on that day by a big mob in the morning. Brig. Kalraa had fired a shot from his revolver in the area and thereupon the mob had run away from that place.
