Witness No. 154

Name : Dara Singh

Age :

Occupation : Tailor

Address : H.No.123, Bhinder Colony, Near Dukhniwaran Gurdwara,Patiala.

On SA

I am shown my affidavit filed before this Commission. In addition to what I have stated in my affidavit I state that on 31st October, 1984 about 25 persons who were not from our locality had come near our house. I had seen that they were carrying a list showing the houses in which Sikhs were staying. I had seen them putting marks on the houses of Sikhs but I had not understood the significance of it.

Cross examination by S.S. Gandhi, Senior Advocate on behalf of Delhi Police

The persons who had come near our house on 31st October, 1984 were in the age group of 30 to 35. They all appeared to be belonging to one place. They were outsiders. I have not complained any time before I filed an affidavit before this Commission that I had gone to thana and the police had refused to take down my complaint.

Read over and found correct.
