There is no record showing the strength of Sikh police personnel except SHO/lnsp. K.S. Bedi. During that period the posting of D.C.P., A.C.P. and S.H.O. was as follows with their present addresses:

2. It is submitted in this regard that in 1984, police station Bara Hindu Rao was operative from the building of police station Sadar Bazar. Police station B.H. Rao was not having separate arms ammunition and the staff of the police station B.H. Rao and police station Sadar Bazar were using the same Arms and Ammunition. The register for seized items was maintained separately for the convenience. The record of arms and ammunition of Malkhana at police station Sadar Bazar as on 31-10-1984 to 04-11-1984 was as follows:

b) No record is available regarding specific time of calling of extra force. As per duty chart with the file with the Commission 01 HC and 05 Constables of CRPF and 03 HCs and 18 Constable of DAP were available in the police station

13. Total 32 persons were arrested for the offence of the murder vide FIR No. 316/84 on 01-11-84. All the accused were released by tile concerned courts on bail. The records of releasing on bail is not available. The list of the arrestee is attached as annexure 'B'.

16. Two persons sustained injury during police firing vide case FIR No. 320/84 on dated 03/11/84.
i) Jagdish Prakash s/o Babu Lal R/o H.No. 10478, Manak Pura, Delhi.
ii) Unknown from the record available at present in the police station.
17. a) There were 37 tear gas used against violent mob by the police. Out of them 18 tear gas grenades used at Qutab Road & B.G. Road vide F.I.R. No.315/84 and 19 tear gas grenade were used at Rani Jhansi Road vide F.I.R. No. 316/84.
b) No record of lathi charge is available.
18. No policemen received any injury during the course of action.
19. No police vehicle was damaged/ burnt.
20. Post-mortem of victims were got done vide F.I.R. No. 316/84. The details are as follows:

30. As per the records available at this police station, No police official was recommended for meritorious service during 1984 carnage.
31. As per the records available at this police station, No police official was indicted for his role during 1984 carnage.
32. Nil. No case was re-opened. But the case FIR No. 03/93 was registered on the affidavit filed by the complainant Smt. Prakash Kaur W/o Sh. Inder Sinah R/o T -56/57. Tokriwalan. Library Road. Delhi and investigated by the Special Riot Cell. The list of accused arrested and challaned is attached as Annexure 'D'.
33. As per the records available, on 03-11-84 ACP/S. Bazar Sh. Hari Dev Singh visited the spot i.e. Gurudwara, Azad Market where rioting mob had gathered and A.C.P./S. Bazar, fired 04 rounds and case FIR No. 320/84 was registered. ACP/S. Bazar was overall supervising the law & order of police station B.H. Rao. But record showing the exact time of visit of ACP/DCP/CP of the police station area is not available.
