I, Paramjit Kaur aged 37 years wife of S. Karam Singh resident of A/69, School Block, Shakarpur, Delhi-92, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under: -

1. On 31.10.1984, when I came to know about the death of Prime Minister. I was pained very much.

2. On 1.11.1984, my husband was not at home, he was in his office. When we came to know that outside Sikhs are being murdered, their houses, shops and valuables are being burnt then I along with my children was at my home. At about 12 noon a mob of about 200 to 300 people came they were carrying in their hand sticks, iron rods, kerosene oil and some white powder.

3 or 4 people from the mob went up-stairs into room where my elder son Bhupinder Singh aged 18 years was. They threw him down and gave him lathis blows. I pleaded with the mob to spare my son but they dragged him and threw him into a burning truck and set my house also on fire. I went to the house of my neighbour.

3. On 3.11.84 when I was in the house of my neighbour mob came at about 8 – 9 AM and shouted at the neighbour that you have given shelter to Sikhs. Throw them out or else we will kill you. The neighbour told the mob that there was no Sikh in their house. The mob shouted that we will search your house and if we find any Sikhs we will kill you. Thereafter the mob searched their house they could not find any Sikh and went out away. Kallu Nai was leading the mob.
