I Jasbir Kaur do hereby solemnly affirm and state on oath as under: -
1. On 31st Oct.'84, we saw that Sikhs were being killed on the road. On the night on 31st Oct.`84, upto 2 AM we saw that Sikhs were being taken out of the houses and afterwards being killed.
2. On 1st Nov.'84, in the morning we though that killings were taking place on the road and will not happen in the houses but suddenly we heard the noise that they have started taking out Sikhs out of the houses and killing them. Myself, my husband, my mother-in-law, father-in-law and my three children (two daughters and one son), we all ran towards my sister-in-law's house. Afterwards, we all ran from there also and hid ourselves in A.K. Gandhi's house.
3. We stayed there for the night of 1st Nov.`84. On 2nd Nov.'84, Gandhi's family was threatened to throw us out, otherwise they would also be killed.
4. On 2nd Nov.'84, at about 13.30 PM my husband Amrik Singh, brother-in-law Gurdial Singh, and his son Davinder Singh age 23 years were forcibly pushed out. They prayed with folded hands and came back. After sometime they were threatened again.
5. After that they all the three went out of the house-saying that all the Sardars of the street had been killed they thought they would hide somewhere else. But they were being pursued by the following persons –
Shyam Singh Tyagi Gram Seller Lado House,
Madan Scooterwala
Deep Chand Dubey,
Hamira Singh,
Rajinder Singh Radiwala,
Inder Dev Radiwala,
Room Singh Tyagi,
Lachiman Das Gandhi,
Tejpal Gupta,
Shanker Radiwala, and his two younger brothers,
Arjan Radiwala.
They all had axes and iron rods of the same size and type. After sometime they returned and said that they all have been killed.
6. At about 5 PM the gram seller who sells grams at the near of our house, came and told me that my husband, his elder brother and his son had been killed on the road outside and burnt.
7. On 3rd Nov. morning when we saw the military personnel, we requested them to evacuate us from them. First they took us to Shakurpur Police Station and later on to Gandhi Nagar relief camp.
