I, Harbhajan Kaur, aged about 65 years, wife of late S. Udham Singh, r/o WZ-35, New Sahibpura, near Tilak Nagar, New Delhi-110018, do hereby on solemn affirmation state and declare as under: -
1. That I established and was managing Gurdwara Bhul Bhulaian, E-Block, No.529, Shastri Nagar, near Sarai Rohilla, Delhi for the last about 35 years. I had constructed 28 rooms in the said Gurdwara which was situated on 2 ½ Bighas of land. Court record also established to my peaceful possession of the land of Gurdwara.
2. That on 1-11-84 at about 9 or 9.30 AM about 100 to 150 Non-Sikhs came and attacked the Gurdwara and among them the following were the prominent assailants:

5) Bhagwan Dass s/o Daga, r/o E-152,
6) Ram Jatan s/o Badal, r/o E-152,
7) Pardeep s/o Mahabir, r/o E-152,
8) Lahori Ram s/o Patti Ram, r/o E-152,
9) Narotam Dass s/o Keds, r/o E-151,
10) Bhag Chand Chadha s/o Chandu Mal, r/o E-150-A,
11) Jitender Kumar s/o Chandu Mal, r/o E-149,

3. That they were raising slogans against Sikhs and were saying that the Gurdwara should be looted and then set on fire and with this motive they broke open the doors and tried to kill me, I suffered several injuries on my body.
4. There were following amongst other properties of the Gurdwara which were looted by the culprits. Three hand pumps, three tape recorders and number of cassettes, loud speakers, about 2000 utensils in Langer of Gurdwara, 50 complete beddings and 35 beds (charpais) about 500 'Rumalas' for Sri Guru Granth Sahib, four cows and two calves and 1 she calf, Almirahs, Trucks, Daries, fans and other miscellaneous articles. The value of the property was more than five lakhs which was looted by the above culprits and others. I also suffered serious injuries.
5. That there was one Mulakh Raj Dairy owner, Hans Raj servant of Mulakh Raj Panna Lal Congress (I) workers, Jagdish Lal, Treasurer of Mohalla Committee, Maya w/o Masterjee, Swarna w/o Jagdish Lal, Mansa Ram, Nanoo Ram and Chaudhary, Thanedar living in neighbourhood have also looted the property.
6. I reported the matter to the police but nobody was prepared to take action against the culprits.
7. All the 28 rooms of Gurdwara are demolished, four Granth Sahibs were burnt by Gautam and others, and even the bricks of Gurdwara are removed by some of the nearby culprits. The bricks of Gurdwara are still lying in their houses and I shall personally identify the bricks and culprits, if impartial enquiries through impartial agencies are ordered.
8. That the government time and again publicized that damage to the Gurdwara shall be repaired by the DDA at government expenses and wherever Gurdwara are demolished that shall be re-erected by the government. Nothing is done in this case.
9. Police failed to take action against the culprits. Congress (I) leaders and workers of the locality are the main culprits who organized this attack on Gurdwara and myself.
10. That after that day I am not being permitted to even visit the site of the Gurdwara by these culprits and I was beaten whenever I go there.
11. Kindly take action against the culprits and order the re-erection of Gurdwara.
