Gurdwara Sri Pamaur Sahib is situated in Pamaur village in the Fatehgarh Sahib district.
The village of Pamaur was where Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji had a discourse with Faqir Fazan Shah after leaving Anandpur Sahib.
After the discussion Hasna Jat asked Guru Tegh Bahadur to visit his home. Guru Tegh Bahadur visited Hasna Jat's home, where Gurdwara Sri Pamaur Sahib is located.
Guru Tegh Bahadur was served by Hasna Jat and the villagers with great respect and devotion.
Guru Tegh Bahadur held a diwan and blessed the whole village. After leaving Guru Tegh Bahadur met a faqir, who having left his family, was meditating.
Guru Tegh Bahadur showed the faqir that the greatest way of living was part of a family (Gristi Jiwan). The faqir accepted Guru Tegh Bahadur's teachings and his whole family became Sikhs.
Prakash Diwas of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji are celebrated here. Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and Sri Guru Arjan Sahib Ji are also organised here.
